V - Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.
R - That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray: (Prayer leader, or: together) Pour forth, we beseech thee, O Lord, thy grace into our hearts; that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an Angel, may by His Passion and Cross, be brought to the glory of His resurrection. Through the same Christ, our Lord. Amen.
What to do during this ongoing national emergency and crisis?
DO NOT PANIC OR FEAR
What should we do now as Christians? Continue to have faith and live your faith, and set good examples of prudence and charity toward others. Be law abiding citizens who promote the common good and truly seek the good of all. Do not be afraid or panic as unbelievers would. Put your faith and trust in God as our hope is not in this world nor in the things of this world, but our hope is the Lord, and we look forward to the life of the world to come.
CONTINUE TO PRAY & KEEP THE LORD'S DAY HOLY
Mass Schedule has returned to normal. You CAN come and celebrate Mass inside the church, or still remain in your car in the church parking lot. Tune your car radio to channel 87.9FM. Please check this website for updates.
If you cannot make it to church, pray every day, and make extra time for prayer on Sunday. Consider reading the Mass readings together as a family and reflecting on them. Consider finding Mass online or on TV to watch. Sunday remains a day set apart and is to be lived differently than the rest as commanded by the Lord. At least on Sundays, make a Spiritual Holy Communion since you are not able to receive the Eucharist at Mass at this time. Say this prayer at least on Sundays and everyday if you can as a true demonstration of your faith in Jesus, and your love for our Lord in Most Blessed Sacrament.
My Jesus
I believe that You
are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.
If you cannot come in your car and attend service in the church parking lot, what can you still continue to do?
CONTINUE TO SUPPORT YOUR PARISH IN OUR MISSION, ALSO FINANCIALLY, IF YOU CAN...
The mission and work of the Church continues, which is the salvation of souls. Everybody can pray the parish prayer every day, pray for deeper personal conversion and committment to God, as well as for the conversion of all sinners, especially those furthest from God and nearest to death. None of us knows the day nor the hour when we shall depart this life, so let us encourage each other while it is still today. Everybody can cry out to the Lord in prayer for a speedy resolution to this worldwide crisis, especially praying the Rosary. The Lord God always seeks to lead all people to Himself, both in good times and in bad. Let us take advantage of this crisis by allowing God to enlighten us about the truth of our lives and world and draw us closer to Himself, while we help others do the same.
